Based in Barcelona, Spain

Marine Auclair March was born in Mallorca in 2001 and developed, from a very early age, a passion for storytelling and a strong cinematic sensibility.

 

She studied at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema I Audiovisuals de Catalunya), where she specialized in the Master’s Degree in Directing.

She directed Blava Terra (2023) as her final graduation project. The short film premiered at the BCN Film Fest, was screened at 90 festivals, and won 30 awards. It was preselected for the Premis Gaudí, qualified for the Premios Goya, received a Best Director award at the Sitges Film Festival, and earned seven nominations at the Premios Fugaz.

Her second short film, Gamberra (2026), premieres at SXSW (South by Southwest 2026 – Austin, Texas – Narrative Shorts Competition).

 

She is currently developing her first feature film in the Ópera Prima Lab at ESCAC with the production company Escándalo Films.

A commitment to rebellion, feminism, and self-determination shapes her filmmaking, reflecting a strong social and human focus and establishing her as a voice deeply devoted to preserving the essence of storytelling.
